We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reservations Manager to lead our Reservations Team.
As a Reservations Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:
- To direct, lead & grow a team responsible for Reservations for all areas of the hotel (Manor, Lodges, Villas, F&B, Activities, Golf and Spa)
- To monitor availability and ensure we are striving to achieve maximum revenue at all times working with the Director of Revenue/Revenue Manager.
- Leading the reservations team in maximising all available sales opportunities of hotel facilities and rates.
- Working with other department heads to ensure availability in outlets for our guests.
- To ensure the Reservations team follow the Reservations Standards Operating Procedures in conjunction with Leading Hotels of the World and Forbes.
- Working with the reservations assistant managers to manage and co-ordinate the duties of Reservations Agents through daily briefing to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
- To ensure departmental members are experts in and aware of Standards Operating Procedures and that those standards are fully implemented.
- Manage daily and weekly reporting on call and reservation volumes.
- Ensure that required standards are being met on test calls.
- Monitors team work daily, and make recommendations for improvement when needed.
- Provide team training on Hotsoft and direction when needed.
- Be a mentor, coach and role model to the Reservations Team.
- Ability to work to strict time lines.
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with the Reservations Team, all HODS and Senior Management.
- Previous experience as a Reservation Manager or Assistant Reservations Manager in a busy hotel or multi site operation.
- Excellent communicator.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Highly motivated and Strong motivation skills.
- Can demonstrate the ability to prioritise and delegate.
