There has never been a more exciting time to join the team and we are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join the team.

This role can be considered on a full-time (39 hours per week) basis, or a part-time (24 hours per week) basis.

This is a new position in our Facilities team and its main purpose will be to cover weekends so you must be available to work Saturdays & Sundays.

Primary responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to;

- Multi building maintenance services

- RGII Boiler Servicing & general plumbing services

- Diagnose and repair faults in engineering installations and associated plant and equipment, hot and cold water systems, irrigation systems, LPHW boilers, pressurisation units, pump sets, air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, catering equipment, electrical systems.

To be considered for this role you must possess;

  • A mechanical background
  • Proven experience as a plumber
  • Understanding of water distribution in commercial and domestic buildings
  • Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances (HVAC etc)
  • Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment .
  • Flexibility to cover other areas within the Facilities department.
