Within one year of reopening the Resort, we were overjoyed to be awarded 'Hotel of the Year' at the Virtuoso Best of the Best Awards ceremony in Las Vegas in 2018. Since then, we have acquired many accolades including AA Ireland: Hotel of the Year 2019, Cond Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards 2019: #1 Resort in Europe and #5 in the World, IGTOA: Golf Resort of the Year 2018, Yes Chef: Afternoon Tea of the Year 2018, amongst many more. Our signature restaurant The Oak Room earned a position in the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland 2020 with One Michelin Star and continues to retain it.

We are currently preparing to re-open and look forward to welcoming guests back to our Resort when it is safe to do so. We are currently recruiting for a Sommelier to join our Resort.

Working as a part of our Food and Beverage Team & directly with our fantastic Head Sommelier Jonathan Moran (Certified Sommelier by The Court of Master Sommeliers Europe, who has been working at several Michelin Starred restaurants around the world) you will oversee one of the best wine cellars in the country.

Our current wine listings include an extensive range of over 780 labels from 20 different countries and vintages dating back to 1934.

We are looking for experienced beverage professionals as exceptional as the hotel itself.

We have created a Sommelier Team consisting of knowledgeable and passionate wine professionals who assist in creating, enhancing and maintaining a strong and vibrant culture for wine throughout the resort.

Candidates must hold a WSET/CMS Level 2 (or equivalent) and have at least 2 years' experience as Sommelier in the luxury hospitality industry. Candidates must also have solid knowledge of French and New World wines and the ability to work under pressure.
